Inscription

FS-John Allen, Esq. 1813.

"In memory of
JOHN ALLEN Esq.
who died July 14th. 1813.
In the 67th year of his
Age.
A soul prepared, made no delays.
The summons comes, the saint obeys:
Swift was his flight, and short the road.
He closed his eyes, and saw his God."
