SUCCUMBS AT PINECREST
James Aldredge, 34, of Blair, formerly a motorman for the Monitor Coal & Coke Company, passed away December 16 in Beckley.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at his late residence with Rev. Denver Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in the Foley cemetery, near Stollings.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Aldridge; the following children, Edward, Clyde, Albert, Mary Jo, Pearl, Shirley and Freda Aldridge, all of the home; brother, Boyd Aldridge of Accoville; three half- brothers, Albert Messer of Ethel, Walter Messer of Lenore, and Ronnie Messer of Holden; three sisters, Mrs. Gertie Hall of Rossmore, Mrs. Hessie Hunt of Lenore and Mrs. Hattie Nelson of Holden.
