In 1864, she came to Mount Pleasant , where she resided for 40 years, having losing her husband in February 1885. In 1904, she still a widow , moved to Potter and spend her remaining days in the home of her youngest daughter.
She was raised a Roman Catholic, but was converted and became a member of the Christian Church at Potter in August 1896.
She was a Mother to seven children.
The funeral services were held at the Christian Church and interment was in Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
