Author of the novel, "Ramona," and the non-fiction work, "A Century of Dishonor." She was originally buried in San Francisco. Her body was moved to a private grave near the summit of Cheyenne peak (about four miles from Colorado Springs). To avoid possible vandalism, she was exhumed a second time and moved to her current spot in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
