Albert John Davison, 68, Pleasant Mills, died at ?:30 p.m. Tuesday a his residence with death resulting from an apparent heart attack.

A member of the Pleasant Mills United Church, he was also a member of the church executuive committee, president of the Pleasant Mills Lions Club, and also a Key Member of the Lions Club. He was the choir director and a Sunday School teacher at his church, and belonged to the Decatur Moose Lodge 1311 to the Legion of the Moose, the Adams SPCBSQSA, St. Mary's and Blue Creek Conservation Clubs, and the Red Man's Lodge.

He retired from General Electric in Decatur in 1972 after 17 years of service, and was also a farmer and Charolois breeder.

Born on February 17 1910, in Adams County, he was the son of Marcellus and Nancy Johnson Davison and was married to the former Edna Rayl on August 31, 1935 In addition to his widow, survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Miller, of Washington, D.C. and Mrs Walda (Cecil) Shindler, of Fort Wayne. One sister is deceased and one brother, Rev. Ralph E. Davison, passed away two months ago.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m Friday at the Zwick Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice Grindle and the Rev.Joseph Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Mills Cemetery.
