Mrs. Davy D. Page Passes Away at The Age of 76
Mrs. Davie Page well-known Tehama county pioneer and widow of H. O. Page, Pine Creek resident, who passes away several years ago, was called by death early this morning. She passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Beatrix Whitten, on Reeds Creek.
Mrs. Page was born in Missouri December 16, 1860, coming to California 64 years ago. She was 76 years of age.
She was the mother of Mrs. Nancy Montgomery, of Adin; Mrs. Beatrix Whitten, Reeds Creek; Mrs. Grace Diehl, Red Bluff; and Mrs. Frances Wolcott, Flournoy. A sister, Mrs. Caroline Kellogg of Adin, is the only survivor of 12 children. Mrs. Page is also survived by 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. E. Wellington McCash officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery under direction of the Fickert Mortuary. - Transcribed by E.
