Born Margaret Nelson, in Cooperstown, May 25, 1911, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter E. Nelson, pioneer couple, and was educated in the schools of the city. In October, 1929, she married Lawrence D. Monear and since then has made her home most of the time in Gary, Mann., and Livingston, Mont. She had been ill the past three years.
Surviving are her husband and one son, Terry; four sisters, Ednah, Ruth and Deborah, all of Los Angeles, Calif., and Pearl of Morenel, Mich.; and two brothers, Perry of Waterloo, Ia., and Wallace of Wasseon, Ohio.
Here to attend the funeral, besides the husband and son were Mrs. E. E. Monear of Livingston; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kunze of Dazey; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schultz of Moorhead and Mrs. Ewald Erickson of Fargo.
