W. Aldridge [Eldridge] Haines
W. Aldridge Haines, 93, of Glade Road near Walkersville, died Thursday at Fredrick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Edna I. Morgan Haines. He was born in Frederick County, a son of the late Andrew and Mary Miller Haines.
He was a member of the Junior OUAM of Walkersville No. 112; and the former EUB Church at Walkersville. He was a carpenter by trade, retiring at the age of 74. For the past two years he had made his home with his son in Frederick.
Survivors include five sons, Wilson E. Haines of Gaithersburg, Emory G. Haines of Frederick, Raymond C. Haines, of Walkersville, Leroy W. Haines of LeGore and H. Melvin Haines of Walkersville; a daughter Mrs. Mary Schildt of Walkersville; three brothers, Millard A. Haines of Frederick, Berkley E. Haines of Catonsville and Dey Haines of Frederick; a sister, Mrs. Masie Crum of Brunswick; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Barton Funeral Home in Walkersville after 7 p.m. today until noon Saturday, and at the Georgetown Methodist Church from 1:30 p.m. until time of the services there at 2:30 p.m. the Rev. James W. Merchant will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Cemetery near Libertytown.

Funeral Services for W. Eldridge Haines, formerly of near Walkersville and more recently of Frederick, who died Thursday [7th] at Frederick Memorial Hospital, were held at the former EUB Church at Walkersville Saturday [9th] at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. James W. Merchant, pastor of the United Methodist Church at Walkersville officiated, assisted by the Rev. John Schildt of the Bethel United Methodist Church at Chewsville.
Pallbearers were Frank Cramer, Walter Eaves, Joe Carlotti, Leslie Keeney, Lester Clem and Raymond Staley.
Interment was in the Chapel Cemetery near Liberty. The Barton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
