Henry Feltrop wasw born in Pittsburgh, Arkansas, in 1866, the son of Stephannus and Marie (Balkenbusch) Feltrop. He married Lena Wolf who was born in Miller County on December 20, 1893, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Wyrick) Wolf. Henry worked for the railroad a number of years and later worked at the Painted Rock Club near Folk.
On January 17, 1940, he was killed in an accident in St. Louis. Lena died December 21, 1970, at Jefferson City. They are both burried in the Folk Cemetery. Henry and Lena had five children. Walter, Matilda, (Mrs. Sylvester Loethen), Anna (Mrs. William Hertzing), Fred (died 1983), and Sylvester (died at 18 months).
Henry's grandfather Steve, was the son onf Hermn and Cornelia W@ittendorp Veltrop.
