BRATTON, RONALD
Mr. Bratton, 77, of Irvona died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 1983, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. Mr. Bratton retired from Swank Refractories, Irvona, in 1970, after 42 years' service. He was born March 6, 1906, in Irvona, the son of Edith Bratton, and married Roberta McGarvey. Surviving are two sons: Ronald L. in Ohio and Harold W. of Houtzdale, five stepchildren: James R. Rea of of Turnersville, N.J.; Janet L. Keith, Ruth Ann McCulley and R. Michael Rea of Irvona, Sandy L. Rowles of LaJose; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Bratton was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Irvona, and Frohsinn Singing Society. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona.
BRATTON – Services for Ronald Bratton of Irvona will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona, by the rev. Marc Benton. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, LaJose. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
