He was the former owner of Anderson's Grocery Store, Rich Fork, near Kanawha Two-Mile. He was a member of Kanawha Two-Mile Gospel Tabernacle. He was a 50 year resident of Kanawha County.
Surviving: wife, Lettie Smith Anderson; daughter, Freddie Anderson, Isabelle Scragg, Joyuce Carpenter adn Napine Lanham, all of Charleston, Elizabeth Vance of Mildord, Ohio; four grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, with the Rev. William Layne and the Rev. Billy Lanham officiating. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery, Kanawha Two-Mile. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
