Funeral services were held Friday, February 12, 1988 at Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, for Veronica "Vera" Puettman, 89, of Stacyville. She died Wednesday, February 10, 1988 at the Stacyville nursing home. Reverend Carl Manternach officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Puettman was born December 29, 1898 to Joseph and Agnes (Ostendorf) Puettman in Roseville. She attended school there and moved to Stacyville as a child.
She is survived five sisters, Hilda Adams and Emma Durben both of Stacyville, Clara King of Austin, Minnesota, Loretta Krebsbach of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Mrs. Roy (Joie) Lady of Rochester, Minnesota.
