Born March 15, 1928 in Albion, he was the son of Mabel [Weidner] and Robert Newell.
On Oct 1, 1949 he married Patricia Weiss.
In 1964 he moved to Hastings and opened his own store, Hastings Floor Covering.
For the past two years. he worked as a saleman for Span-Master Buildings Inc, Hastings.
Mr Newell is survived by his wife, Pat;
Two daughters, Mrs Donald [Deborah] Hall, Mrs Mark [Brenda] Newman,
Two grandchildren,
