Obituary 2002

Opal Alline Peden, 84, Red Bay, Ala., died May 7, 2002, at Care Center of Red Bay.

She was a native of Alabama and a homemaker. Mrs. Peden was a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie C. Peden in 1996; and a grandson, Randell Peden.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002, at New Union Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Thorn, the Rev. Robert Isaacs and the Rev. Scot George officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, directing.
