Funeral Services for Ray Dean Burgess, age 60, will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008, @ 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cookeville Funeral Home with burial in the Stewart Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2008, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. & on Saturday, July 11, 2008, from 10:00 am until time of service.
Mr. Burgess died on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at C. R. M. C.
He was born on August 7, 1947, in Putnam County, TN to the late Ernest P. & Erma Ocia Rice Burgess.
Mr. Burgess was of the Church of Christ faith and was an avid C.B. Radio transmitter.
He is survived by: Four Sisters: Ruby Helms, Ruth Boyd, Reba Flatt , & Cleo Cole. One Brother: Wayne Burgess all of Cookeville. A Special Friend and Caregiver: Rebecca Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his parent's and one brother Dillon Burgess. Pall Bearers will be: David Helms, Stan & Greg Cole, Billy Tucker, Seth & Matthew Kilgore.
