Ann Harriet Beach Dies in Colorado
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Edmondson were called to Grand Junction, Colorado, by the death of their niece, Miss Ann Harriet Beach who passed away at St.Mary's Hospital in that city on Friday June 16th after an illness of three months.
Miss Beach was the daughter of Major and Mrs. Alfred H. Beach. She was born in Newcastle, Wyo. December 28, 1908. The family lived in Lusk for a number of years and later in Casper.
She was graduated from the Casper High School after which she took training to be an X-ray technician at Mercy Hospital at Bay City, Mich. She worked as a technician under civil service at the Station Hospital at Camp Williston, Boulder City, Nevada, and at the Dibble General Hospital in California.
Miss Beach has often visited at the Edmondson home in Lusk, renewing acquaintances of her early girlhood, and was a popular and talented young lady.
Surviving are her parents, four brothers, Pvt Alfred H Beach, Jr. who is stationed at the selective service induction station in Denver, S/Sgt. James Beach, who is stationed in England; Stewart M. Beach and John E. Beach both of Flint, Mich.; on sister, Mrs. Richard T. Markle, Terre Haute, Ind; three aunts, Mrs. W. W. Edmondson of Lusk, Wyo.; Mrs Val Jessen, Grand Junction, Colo.; and Mrs. Ray Hunt, Flint, Mich.; two uncles, Fred W. Brown, Saginaw, Mich., and Eugene M Beach, Mt. Morris, Mich.
Val Edmondson of Lusk is a cousin of the deceased.
