FRANKLIN BLOOM, 75, FOUND DEAD IN BED
Apoplexy Blamed for Death of Man Who Lived in County 35 Years
Franklin P. Bloom, 75, resident of Seneca County for 35 years, died sometime early this morning during an attack of apoplexy.
His body was found in bed at 10 o'clock this morning when neighbors, at the requst of Miss Clara Leidy, his niece, who has been caring for Bloom, entered the Bloom residence at 320 West Market St. by removing a screen door.
A verdict of death from apoplexy was rendered this afternoon by cornorer P. T. Perin of Green Springs following an examination of the body and questioning of friends. Bloom had been dead several hours.
He was born in Mexico, Ohio, September 21, 1852 and came to Seneca county 35 years ago. He was married to Miss Sarah Ellen Lawhead October 18, 1877. She died in February of this year.
Three brothers and two sisters, William of Tiffin, Rudolph of Berwick, Ferdinand of Adrian, Mrs. Rachel Clouse of Adrian and Mrs. Angeline Hahn of Tiffin survive.
He was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church and the Odd Fellows lodge.
Funeral services will be held Friday afernoon in the home at 2 o'clock. The body will be placed in Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
