Marshall C. Pierce
Marshall C. Pierce, 73, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was a retired farmer and a night watchman for a manufacturing plant. He was a member of Tilden Church of Christ.
Services were at 4 p.m. Saturday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Barney Hobbs officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Velvie Steele Pierce of Fulton; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Vaughn of Amory, one sister, Mrs. Ethel Howell of Aberdeen; two brothers, George Pierce of Port Richey, Fla., and Lawrence Pierce of Whitfield; and two grandchildren.
