Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the little Church of Flowers at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, for Mrs. Clarissa G. Story, 69, widow of Atty. Henry Davis Story of Portland, Ore, Dr. Willsie Martin of the Wilshire Methodist church officiated at the rites.
Mrs. Story died Saturday at her home in this city, where she moved from Los Angeles tow years ago. She leaves a brother, Joseph W. Briggs of Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Slattery of Salinas, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Z. T. Briggs of Los Angeles. Mrs. Story was born in Muscotah, Kan., and was educated at Monticello seminary, Monticello, Ill. She resided in Portland for many years before coming to California.
