Isabella's 1st husband, Samuel Bowersox served in Co. A, 46th Pennsylvania Regiment. He was killed in battle at Resaca, Georgia on May 15, 1864. They had three daughters, Mary E., Clara Ann & Nancy Jane. After the war Isabella and her daughters moved to the vicinity of Hannibal with her brothers William and Andrew Treaster.
She may have married a second time to a Brink. Which produced another daughter, Sarah (Sallie)Ann Brink.

The grave is unmarked. Upon asking the cemetery office manager for the plot information, she discovered that the only information on the burial came from Isabella's daughter, Clara Ann Lambert and that Isabella was buried there on June 27, 1896. Sect. 11, Lot 6, grave 8 right by the door of the chapel. THere had been a fire and many records had been destroyed. Clara had come in to make sure that there was a record for her mother.
