Donatus Leo Stephen "Doc" Dumont, age 86, who died Tuesday at St Cloud Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Donatus was born April 26, 1918, in Freeport to Frank and Louise nee: Yung Dumont.

He married Anna Froelich, May 12, 1956 in Albany and was a lifelong resident of Freeport. He served with US Navy during World War II and a member of Melrose VFW, Freeport St Joseph Society and Sacred Heart Parish.

Survivors include his wife; sons and daughter, Linus, Jackson MS, Thomas, Freeport, Joyce, Port Reading NJ, brothers, Francis, Freeport, Alphonse, Grey Eagle and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rene.

Pallbearers will be Amandus Rolfes, Ralph Willenbring, Virgil Goebel, Joe Schulzetenberg, Charles Heigerken and Gotthard Rademacher.
