This is Wendy's family first Xmas without Wendy.
I know it is hard and with 3 little girls she left behind..
1.Savanah Dawn, 2.Sierra Rose, and 3.Sabrina Grace...all from Elyria,Ohio.
Wendy graduated from Elyria West High in 1988 and attended Lorain County Community Collage for 2 years.
She worked for Elyria Maintenance Co. as a Crew Chief for 8 years.
As a crew chief, Wendy had to make rounds to buildings late at night to make sure the work was done by the workers. If it wasn't done, she had to do it herself.
They would usually send 2-3 people out together, but on this night Wendy was sent out by herself.
Wendy came back around 11:30pm. and had to make work reports on where she had been and what she found.
She went to take the work van back to the lot and get her own van and that was the last time anyone saw her alive.
Wendy was found dead, slumped over the steering wheel with the radio on, ignition turned over and shot in the back of the head. This was Memorial Week-End of 5/26/2001.
As of today..9/21/2007...no one has been charged with her murder.
