She born Sept. 14, 1897, at Houston, Mo., and was married Sept. 28, 1919, at Houston. She lived in Bremerton from 1945 until 1949, then moved to Wenatchee and lived in the Wenatchee and Spokane areas until moving to Auburn in 1982.
In her early life, Mrs. Fugate worked as a school teacher in rural Missouri and later worked in sales in Wenatchee.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wenatchee and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Wenatchee.
Survivors include her husband, Allen B. Fugate, Auburn; two sons, Robert B. Fugate, Marysville, and Dr. James P. Fugate, Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Bettie) Landers, Pleasanton, Calif., and Jeanne Antles, Wenatchee; a brother James Corbett, Houston, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
