BEATRICE "MISS BEA" BROUSSARD 90 passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Webster, TX. She was born on April 30, 1920 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Leotard and Marie Dubois. She was a resident of La Marque for 65 years and attended school in Louisiana and business college in Texas. Miss Bea worked in retail throughout the years and pursued every opportunity to help her friends and was the recipient of Yard of the Month several times throughout the years. She was an active participant in the Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Guild of the Queen of Peace Church and a true believer that God, Family and Friends were the most important aspects of Life.

Miss Bea was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ivy Broussard who she married in November 1939. She survived by her daughter Peggy Zahler and numerous nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a Vigil at 7:00 PM at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, TX. Miss Bea's funeral service will be on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chacko Puthmuyail officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

A special thank you to Emma Clostio who visited Miss Bea every Saturday evening during the past 10 months.
