LOYSVILLE - Floyd H. Weary, 72, of Loysville entered into rest on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Floyd was born March 5, 1938 at Carlisle to the late Woodrow W. & Mae E. (Henry) Weary.
He was the self-employed owner with over 50 years of service at Sheaffer-Weary Chevrolet, Loysville. He was a board of director at the First National Bank of Mifflintown.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a member; deacon & elder at St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Carlisle.
He was a member of the Landisburg Lions Club; Loysville Community Club; West Perry Health Center Board; Advisory Board at the Loysville Youth Development Center; Central Penn Truck Club; Perry County Corvette Club; Cross Forks Sportsmen's Club and Black Forest Snowmobile Club.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie L. (Saylor) Weary, five children, Cheri L. Kulp & husband Thomas, Douglas A. Weary & wife Lori (Heckert), Christy A. Black & husband Gregory, Denise J. Baum & husband David, Terise J. Goodling & husband Phillip, five grandchildren, Randall S. Boughter, Morgann E. Goodling, Makenzie R. Goodling, Alexis C. Black, Olivia C. Black, four step grandchildren, Erin Miller, Jamie Sanden, Andrew Kulp, Emily Kulp and a step great-grandson, Anden Miller.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the St. Matthews United Church of Christ, 3240 Spring Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 with the Rev. Timothy Dugan officiating. Viewing will be from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, P. O. BOX 910, Loysville, PA 17047 and 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
