Peter J. Baleyko, 89, of Nashua, NH died on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a lengthy battle with Skin Cancer.

He was born in South Boston, MA on August 31, 1921 to the late Lewis and Mary (Tymec) Baleyko. He was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School in Boston, MA and attended Boston College School of Business where he was Co-Captain of the BC football team.

Peter was a Jesuit Brother in the Society of Jesus for ten years. After leaving the Jesuits, he worked at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA as a Faculty Administrator, as well as assistant line coach for the football team. Peter retired to Nashua, NH with his late wife Ruth (Harmon) Baleyko. Peter was a devout Catholic who loved the Church. He was compassionate toward all animals and was an avid fan of football. Peter loved his country and was passionate about political debate.

He was predeceased by his two brothers, Walter Baleyko and John Baleyko. Family members include his sisters, Alice (Baleyko) Holmes, Ann (Baleyko) Giers, Phyllis (Baleyko) Marglin, and Marylou (Baleyko) McCarthy and her husband, Jack. Also several nieces and nephews.
