Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Jones, 52, died Saturday, September 9, at Giles County Hospital.
Services were conducted Monday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock at the Shores Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jessie Littrell officiating. Burial was in Shores Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, a native of Giles County, was born January 15, 1915, the daughter of Minnie Cameron McDougal and the late Robert McDougal.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Kenneth Jones, Giles County; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Gordon and Barbara Jones, Giles County, and Mrs. Glenda Faye Thomas, Anderson, Ala.; two sons, Robert and Billy Jones, Giles County; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Howell and Mrs. Viola Wilburn, Giles County; two brothers, Delmer and Elmer McDougal, Giles County.
