Funeral for Robert Wayne " Buster" Smith, 82, of San Augustine will be at 2 p.m. today in Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Dr. Sam Wayman and Rick Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, San Augustine. Smith died April 13, 2005, in San Augustine. Born July 15, 1922, in San Augustine County, he was the son of Walter Harrison Smith and Alice Laura Bradberry. He was a farmer and a truck driver and was affiliated with Memorial Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Eppes Smith of San Augustine; daughters, Wanda Amelia Jeanes and Sharon Sue Mathews, both of San Augustine, and Lynda Beth Boudoin of Lake Arthur, La.; sister, Murline McBride of Fredericksburg; brothers, Lester Smith and Charles Smith of San Augustine, Donald Smith of Baytown and Kenneth Smith of Vidor; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
