Mr. Vaden, a retired farmer and business man, came to Williamson County in 1927 after spending many years in Nashville, where he was with the Cumberland Tobacco Works. He retired two years ago to a farm on Cox Road. Mr. Vaden was born in Smith County. His parents were John D. and Arminta Ules Vaden.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Fannie Dickerson Vaden; two daughters, Mrs. Steve Murray of Franklin, and Mrs. Elvis Hunter of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, John Vaden of Franklin; two brothers, Alvie and Meredith Vaden, of Carthage, Tenn., and 12 grandchildren.
