Wallace Edgar Hamilton passed away at Sullivan Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1943, after a short illness of heart trouble. Burial was in Ash Grove cemetery. Wallace E. Hamilton was born March 16, 1873 at Windsor, and lived near Windsor all his life. He was a son of Samuel M. and Emma Hamilton. He married Etta Watson, April 5, 1896. She passed away July 18, 1932. Five children were born of this union. One son, Earl, passed away in his youth. The four living are Roscoe of Windsor; Cecil of Sullivan; Mrs. Vera Ryon and Corwin of Flint, Mich. Also surviving are several grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mina Hazelwood of Tonkawa, Okla. On Aug. 31, 1933, Mr. Hamilton married Mrs. Edith Musick, who survives. Mr. Hamilton was engaged in farming until a few weeks ago, when he retired and moved to Sullivan. He was a member of the Windsor Christian church.
