MARTIN, Aaron M.D. Peacefully went to be with his Lord, surrounded by family on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Listowel Memorial Hospital in his 81st year. Aaron resided at R.R. # 1 Gowanstown and was the son of the late Abraham R. and Susanna Martin. Beloved husband of Nancy G. (Martin) Martin, whom he married December 4, 1952. Loving father of Salema and Daniel Horst of Gowanstown, Elmer and Kaye Martin of Halsey, Oregon, Anna and Raymond Weber of Aylmer, Eli and Elizabeth Martin of Gowanstown, John and Janet Martin of Thamesville, Erma and Gary Martin of Mine Centre, Alma and Robert Horst of Thamesville, Nancy and Leland Biehn of Gowanstown. Also remembered by son-in-law Merle and Helen Bauman of Aylmer. Sadly missed by sixty-six grandchildren and sixty-two great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tilman Martin of Aylmer, Quebec, Rebecca Bauman of Elmira, Peter and Elizabeth Martin of Listowel, Leah and John Boehm of Kitchener, Lena Seigers of Blyth, Noah and Jean Martin of Chesley, Susanna and David Shantz of Montreal, Quebec, Adeline Bauman of Dorking, Gordon and Madeline Bauman of Drayton. Aaron was predeceased by his step-father David A.B. Martin, daughters Mary Bauman and Betty in infancy grandson Dennis, great-granddaughter Angela, sisters Lizzie and Harvey Bauman, Mary Bauman, brother-in-law Aden Bauman and sister-in-law Janet Martin. Aaron was a member of Cedarvale Mennonite Church, Harriston. He was ordained December 21, 1969 at Heidelburg Mennonite Church as a deacon. He served the church faithfully until his death. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer St., Milverton, Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. again on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Moorefield Mennonite Church with Cedarvale ministry officiating. Interment in Cedarvale Mennonite Cemetery, Harriston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Outreach Missions sponsored by Cedarvale Mennonite Church.
