Sanville, Va., Dec. 19.
On last Monday, Dec. 11, Mrs. Loutishia Fulcher, age 56, died at the home of her son, Mr. Anthony Fulcher at Portsmouth, Ohio. She awoke Monday morning about 4 o'clock and called for her son. He went to her as quick as he could and asked her what he could do for her, and her answer was, "Lay me down, I'm gong home." She only lived til half past 4 o'clock, just went off like any one going to sleep. She had heart trouble.
She was laid quietly to rest beside her husband, Mr. Buddie Fulcher at the Wood graveyard in Patrick Co., Va. Her brother, Mr. A. T. Reynolds, her half brother, Mr. Jack Wood, her half sister, Mrs. Cora L. Stone, her two sons and daughter, Mr. Anthony Fulcher, Mr. John Fulcher and Mrs. Mollie Craig, besides a host of friends and relatives are left to mourn her loss. Elder L. I. Gilbert conducted burial services.
