Birth: Dec., 1823
Mississippi, USA
Death: 1900
Texas, USA

David Bartlett Choate was my great-great grandfather. He was last shown on the 1900 Tarrant Co., TX census living in the household of his eldest son, David Oliver "Olley" Choate. He obviously died between 1900-1910 as he is not found on the 1910 census. David's son, David Oliver Choate is buried in the Noah Cemetery in Tarrant Co., TX as well as another son, Steven Strickland Choate. I suspect another son, Jesse B. Choate is buried there. The only marker for a Choate there is one made by the family of Steven Strickland Choate which is concrete and is arc-shaped and lies flat to the ground. It makes sense to me that David Bartlett Choate would be buried in the Noah Cemetery also (and possibly his wife Polly), but I have no hard proof. I hope the mystery of David's burial site can be solved someday. David and Polly had 3 other sons that are not listed below as I have no death info on them yet. They were Jesse W. Choate, James B. Choate and Bartlett Choate. David Bartlett Choate was a Confederate veteran.
