Eldest son of James Harvey Woolworth and Dorothy Lloyd Woolworth. Married Cecelia Pape Feb 2, 1893. They had four children Anna N.(Young) Clarence Earl,Hattie E.(Schalk) & Ralph James

James Henry Woolworth, 53 years old a resident of Plymouth Co. for 47 yrs, died at his home on the morning of Feb 10, 1920 on his farm in Hungerford township following a brief illness of pneumonia.
He was born in Arena,WI on Sept 15, 1866 and came to this county with his parents at the age of 7yrs. He was united in marriage to Miss Celia Pape in 1893. He is survived by his wife and four children. The children are Annie N. Clarence E., Hattie E. and Ralph J. He is also mourned by his aged mother, brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Woolworth was an active member of the Odd Fellows for about 30 yrs and members of that order had charge of the funeral which was held at Graceland Park cemetery in Sioux City,IA. He was highly respected in the community where he had lived all of his life and was an upright and honorable citizen, highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
