Word has been received of the death Dec. 25 of John Daniel "J.D." Williams, 52, of Burton, Mich. He was formerly of the Marston and Jay-Wye areas in New Madrid County. He was the grandson of Marshall Lawson of Caruthrsville.
He is also survived by his wife, Mrs. Rae Williams of Burton, One son, Rodney Williams of Burton; One daughter, Mrs Brenda Sue Williams of Wisconsin; His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams of Malden; Four stepsons, Michael Adams of Flint, Mich., and George, John and Guy Rolleston, all of Pennsylvania; One brother, Robert Williams of Sikeston; And three sisters, Mrs. Pansy Brown of DeSoto, Mrs. Mary Farner of River Mines, Mo., and Mrs. Catherine Cooper of Malden.
Services were Dec. 30 at Landess Funeral home chapel in Malden, Rev. Vernon Reese officiating, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery there.
