Mr. Baxter McLendon Little, 77, of 3869 Shady Brook Drive, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at Moses Cone Hospital.
Mr. Little was born June 10, 1923, in Greensboro, to the late George and Evie Little. He was a member of Christ Way Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Letha Mae Backus Little. Mr. Little was also a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific and was awarded three Battle Stars and the Presidential Unit Citation for bravery in action.
He is survived by two daughters, two sons and their families which include 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
