Frank Dollings Passes Today In Local Hospital
Frank Delaney Dollings, 61, for many years a prominent contractor of this city passed away in a local hospital early this morning. He had suffered a stroke three years ago, his health failing since that time.
Dollings was well known throughout Tehama county. For a time he was superintendent of the county farm, operated in connection with the county hospital.
He was born in Henleyville, Aug 12, 1876 and had resided in Tehama county all his life, the last 25 years in Red Bluff. He married Miss Selma Alma Osborn in 1904, his wife preceding him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Herman and Otto Dollings, both of Red Bluff and two sisters, Mrs. Tom Hulse of Sacramento, and Mrs. Frank Beeding, Red Bluff.
Funeral services will be held from the Fickert chapel at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with Rev. E. Wellington McCash officiating and interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery, under direction of the Fickert Mortuary. - Transcribed by E.
