Death Certificate says day of birth was the 22nd; stone says the 21st; the death certificate and other records are ambiguous. Frank was found murdered 15 miles west of North Wilkesboro on the 27th of October, but it was assumed he actually died on the 26th; He was the victim of an apparent robbery by a fare he had picked up in his taxi. According to a local source living at the time, they never found the perpetrator. Son of Albert Grady Baker and Mattie Pearl Whittington; first husband of Ruth Elizabeth Holman.
