KOOPS (Bellflower) - Cornelius Arie Koops, 57, of 10230 Hacienda Ave. died Tuesday in a Downey Hospital. He had resided here for 13 years. He was born in Holland, and lived in Doon, Iowa, prior to moving to Bellflower. Surviving are his wife, Alida; two daughters, Mrs. Joanna Sipma of Artesia and Mrs. Alida Boch of Bellflower; four sons, Jack, Bernard, Albert and William Koops of Bellflower; a brother, William Koops of Bellflower; eight grandchildren. Service will be held at 10:30 Friday in the Second Reformed Church, Artesia, with Rev. H.J. Aberson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier. Gallaugher & DeYoung Bellflower Mortuary will direct the arrangements.
