She was born February 13, 1901, on a farm south of Seneca, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes Feldkamp Heideman.
She was married to Frank Henry on February 25, 1919, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Seneca. They farmed four miles west of Frankfort.
Gertrude was a member of Annunciation Church, Frankfort, and a member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Frank, on April 4, 1988; her parents; brothers, Joe Heideman; Fred Heideman; Henry Heideman; John Heideman; Carl Heideman; Leo Heideman; Paul Heideman; sisters, Theresa Feldkamp; Mary Burdick; and Helen Koehler.
Funeral services were held at Annunciation Catholic Church, Frankfort, KS on June 10, 1996. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort.
