MCRAE - Ida Wilkes, age 90, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Fairview Hospital in Dublin.
Funeral Services will be held 11A.M. Friday, October 8, with Interment in the Telfair Memorial Gardens. Brother Bill Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Wilkes was a native of Telfair County, homemaker and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late George Lucious and Emily Ann Wells Bowen.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Tom Wilkes of McRae; two daughters, Peggy Todd of McRae, Sheri (Parker) Cape of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandchildren, Hannah Cape, Teresa (Wayne) White, Sharon (Darren) Marchman, Ted (Ameila) Todd; five great-grandchildren, Adam White, Morgan White, Jordan (Mackenzie) Marchman, Makenze Marchman, Noah Todd; one great-great-grandson, Lincoln Marchman; caregivers, Nancy Lanier and Patricia Smith; nieces, nephews and many friends.
