Funeral Monday For Mrs. Sackett
Loiuse Marie Burzlaff was born in Clinton, Ia., December 9, 1993, to William F. and Marie (sic) Burzlaff. Soon after this they moved to Rock Island County, Ill. And in 1902, the family returned to Iowa, locating in Sac County, where Miss Burzlaff attended the public schools.
In 1910, at the age of 17 she came, with her family, to this county to make their home.
On October 6, 1915, she was united in marriage with Walter Orland Sackett. The couple set up on a farm home. to this union were born four sons: William, Dodge Center; Robert, Laramie, Wyo., Herbert, Kasson; and Haley, Claremont. On June 2, 1926, her husband passed away, leaving her and a family of small children to care for.
Early in life, Louise Sackett became a Christian. On May 9, 1940, after her boys joined, she also united with the Dodge Center Methodist Church and has continued a faithful and loyal member to the present. She loved not only her grandchildren, but all children. for many years she was teacher in the primary department of the Sunday school. ...
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville....

Note: Not mentioned in the obituary is that she had a stillborn daughter in 1917 while living near Rice Lake, Steele County, Minnesota/ That child reportedly was buried on the family farm.
