"Walter Orland Sackett was born in Martin Co., Minnesota, February 6, 1889 and passed away at the Colonial hospital at Rochester on June 2, 1926 aged 38 years, 3 months and 26 days. the immediate cause of his death being pneumonia following an operation for appendicitis.
He was the son of George and Phoebe Sackett and came to Dodge County with his parents when a boy.
He was united in marriage to Louise Burzlaff on October 6, 1915 and has since lived in Dodge county on a farm. Four children were born to this union; William Walter 7, Robert George 5, Herbert Roy 3, and Harley Alfred age 5 weeks.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, four sons, mother, three brothers and five sisters. His father preceded him in death last January. ...
Interment was in Evergreen cemetery at Mantorville."
