As per Jean; Amaziah Davisson, was born in Wading River (Suffolk Co.), Long Island (Queens Co.), New York. on Aug. 19, 1726 and was the son of Josiah and Mary Winthrop Skelton Davisson. In 1761, he married Margaret Burns (I Have her name as Consort) in Middlesex, New Jersey. They were parents of 6 children; John W., Amaziah II, Josiah, Andrew R., an unknown daughter?, and Obediah. Amaziah died on December 21, 1811 in Haverhill, (Scioto Co.) Ohio. The Cemetery is in Haverhill, Ohio. I don't know why the (Greenup) shows up. Mary Oakes Spencer 02/23/2004.
