Former Jordan Farmer Dies In Chicago
Harvey Roadifer, 68, a former prominent resident of Jordan township, died of a heart condition in Presbyterian hosipital, Chicago, Illinois, Saturday following an illness of two weeks.
Born in Jasper ocunty, Mr. Roadifer lived in the Remington area until the end of World War I, when he moved to Chicago. He was a member of the Methodist church and a veteran of World War I. He never married.
Surviving are two brothers, Orael of Logansport and George of Chicago.
The funeral services were held from the Howard Funeral Home in Remington at 2 o'clock Tuesday. Burial was in Remington cemetery.
