Mr. Carroll passed away July 4, in Leesville's Byrd Regional Hospital. His usual occupation was a custodian at the Sabine Valley Technical Institute in Many.
Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Alice Carroll; two brothers, Durward, and Quinton Carroll.
He is survived by his wife Leona Salter Carroll of Florien; one son, Steve Carroll, also of Florien; three daughters, Patsy Ellzey and husband Bill of Milam, Tex., Susan Farmer of Florien, Cynthia Taylor and husband Tim of Shreveport; one brother, J. D. Carroll of Center, Tex.; two grandsons, David Farmer, and Timothy Taylor; two granddaughters, Margie Farmer, and Brooke Taylor.
Pallbearers were Darwin Carroll, Gary Carroll, Danny Carroll, Sherman Salter, Jason Bass, and R. T. Miller.
