Snow ("Brooksville, Maine...", p. 25): Samuel m. Mercy Watson (b. ca. 1752, d. 28 Sept 1828 at Brooksville, dau. of Shadrack Watson and Mary Kimball of Sedgwick, ME) and had twelve children. To avoid being impressed into pilot service by the British at Castine, he fled to Owls Head with his family, but returned after the war to his farm on the west side of Walker's Pond, where he is buried in the churchyard on his land.
