Harold M. Janot, 69, of Frenchville died at the Clearfield Hospital Thursday at 7:15 a.m. following a short illness.
He is survived by the following, children: LeRoy of Meadvilie; Mrs. DeSales Marinoble, Warren; and Mrs. Emily Ferraro of Elyria, O. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren.
Four sisters also survive: Mrs. John Rollin, Mrs. William Billotte, Mrs. Clair Spencer and Mrs. Bessie Daugherty.
His wife, Mrs. Blanche Janot, and one son, Cpl. Harold Janot, Jr., preceded Mr. Janot in death.
Funeral services will be held from the St Mary's Catholic Church in Frenchville Saturday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Carl L. Lippert officiating. Interment will be in the St Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the home Friday afternoon and evening and until time of services Saturday.

FRENCHVILLE — Names of two daughters of Harold M. Janot of this place who died in the Clearfield Hospital last Thursday were inadvertently transposed in the death notice appearing in last Friday's Progress.
The names should have read: Mrs. Emily Marinoble of Warren and Mrs. BeSalles Ferraro of Elyria, Ohio.
Mr. Janot is also survived by three brothers; Gene of Clearfield, John of Meadville and Wilford of Frenehville. Funeral services were held Saturday.
