Jessie Viola Thorson, 83, of Hastings, Ne., died Monday, July 4, 2005 at her home. Jessie was born April 18, 1922 in Gouldbusk, Texas to Willie & Georgia (Sparks) Turner.
Jessie graduated from Melvin High School, Melvin, Texas. On June 20, 1944, she married Almer Thorson in Brady, Texas. She was a homemaker and, as a cosmetologist she owned and operated Viola's Beauty Salon for several years. They moved from Livingston, Montana to Hastings, Nebraska in 2003. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston, Montana.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward Turner.
