"Ye shall be gathered one by one." The sword of another Veteran soldier has been put up; the spirit of another faithful servant stands glorified before it's God. William Henry Curtis of Hampton died on Wednesday night, Sept 28 1892, Death with its impartial hand has taken our brother from us, but can never take away the memory of his undivided whole souled, Christ given service which is treasured by one and all. He was a believer in the Cross, not a smooth, flower covered painless one but a Calvary like heavy one crowned with thorns and he carried it with a cheerful spirit, and an unchanged faith. He was intered in the Hampton Cemetery Thursday at 3:00.

This is from the Hampton and Big Timber Valley History
